The competitive nature of an auction is such that the property is sold for the best price on the day and therefore a true 'open market' value is established. The sale of the property is obviously concentrated into a tight time scale [usually between 4 – 6 weeks] which may suit a vendor better and a contract on the day gives security of sale.
John Amos & Co carry out appraisals to ensure the property is suitable for auction, advice on the auction process itself and will promote and market the property in the appropriate way to help you achieve the best price on the day.
