A farmer owned Co – Operative, formed in 2004 enabling farmers to diversify into growing energy crops to supply to users in South Wales.
John Amos Energy Ltd have advised & assisted in the Co – Operative formation.
The Co – Operative will be supplying energy crops to a number of markets, most notably The Bluestone Village - a leisure park development, heated by a biomass system making the park an environmentally friendly and sustainable development.

Lugg Valley Growers are a a co-operative of four farming businesses based in North Herefordshire operating one of the largest supply chains for miscanthus rhysomes in Europe. The specialist equipment used to harvest and plant rhysomes has been designed and developed by the group for maximum efficiency. The group supply rhysomes to projects throughout Europe including a 10 year supply contract to Ireland's major growing group.
